<image:caption>Itamar is a Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary consultant, guitarist, producer & sound engineer with a bachelor’s degree from the prestigious Berklee College of Music. His striking, locked-in, eclectic guitar work has taken him onstage to headline shows in 30+ US states, on multiple coast-to-coast bus tours, live on FOX, ABC, & more; on major festivals including Reggae on the River (2017) and Art Basel Miami (Wynwood 2018) & sharing stage bills with legends like Sly & Robbie, Yellowman, Tarrus Riley, Third World, Slightly Stoopid, J Boog, Maxi Priest, & more. In addition to music, Itamar has worked leadership assignments freelancing in Los Angeles-area entertainment and charity events, including LA Pride 2019, LA Times Food Bowl, & events in partnership with local organizations such as Children’s Hospital LA. <image:caption>[Photo by Lauren Desberg] Born in 1990 to a Hebrew family of WWII refugees, combat veterans and academics, Itamar found himself gripped by the complexity of the human condition at a very early age. Quickly discovering music as the prime source of both communication and expression and deeply encouraged by the local artistic community in his hometown of Ithaca, NY, by age 16 it was apparent that using the arts to improve the world situation would become his life’s mission. After a brief stint studying political science at the prestigious Ithaca College Politics Department, Itamar moved to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music, the world-leading institution for contemporary music. The international environment of a music conservatory provided Itamar with new lifelong friends, global perspectives, and foundational experiences. After founding his own dub outfit OSIRISFIRE (featuring members of John Brown’s Body, The Veronicas, and more), Itamar then went on to gain national attention as he completed three coast-to-coast tours with “Mighty Mystic”, the younger sibling of the Jamaican Prime Minister, which included performances at the historic Reggae on the River, Mammoth Reggae Festival, and alongside artists such as Tarrus Riley, Sly and Robbie, Yellowman, Third World, Maxi Priest, J Boog, & Slightly Stoopid. Itamar currently resides in Los Angeles and plays guitar and sings with the soul-dancehall-r&B squad Double Tiger, and also accompanies many LA-based singers and instrumentalists.</image:caption>
